If you can stand the incredible slowness of YouTube then there are these neat drawing videos by Matt Busch with a Star Wars Theme.  While the videos are not necesarily teaching videos, more like commercials for his book You Can Draw Star Wars, they do inspire you to want to draw so I recommend them.  http://www.youtube.com/mattbusch

If you want to download these vids to your computer then you should first download a program called Tube Sucker, this program allows you to download the YouTube stuff and play it offline whenever. No more do you have to download for hours for each viewing. http://www.newrad.com/software/tubesucker/

The only problem I have is that in the second vid Busch shows how he uses a standard form for  drawing the faces and I am not certain how he can do this or if this is a good thing to teach since some people's foreheads are longer or shorter than their faces and sometimes the chin and so on is longer or shorter, the face is not always equally spaced.

There are some portrait painting videos that I want to post links to also.

If nothing else this board might become a resource if not an active course.
